A long walk
There is that strange attachment to the UK that takes me back to the remote regions of Scotland or England.
The beautiful thing on Scotland is the freedom to roam. All you have to do is to respect their rules and freedom is yours.
The walk started in Inverness and ended in Torridon. My kit composed of decommissioned military clothing, a small tent and a few other things, all packed in a Berghaus Vulcan II.
Back in 06 I had not much sense for strictly limiting the weight of my rucksack. That should prove disadvantageous when I found that reality can differ from the theory on the map.
